The Vamps 'Meet The Vamps' Westfield Show & Signing - Monday 14th April 2014.

Hello Lovelies,
I know I was doing a blog every single day of half term but I realized it was going to become repetitive so I finished it however I'm doing a blog post on yesterdays events because it was one of the best days of my life along with The Vamps 'Last Night Launch Party' which was in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust last Monday.
Yesterday I woke up at 6am to get ready however I fell back asleep (more like half asleep) till 7am. I got ready and had to leave by 8:15am in the end. I arrived at Westfields Shepherds Bush at around just before 10am. I invited my friend Lea to have my other ticket as I won two tickets to see the show as well as meet one of the boys (i'll move onto that later) me and Lea waited in the pen for a while then went down to see if the boys were down there however they weren't so we quickly got back in our pen and waited for the show to start.
Once again the live performance was amazing and couldn't fault it. I did feel really sorry for James though because he has sprained his ankle and he hobbled along onto the stage and he looked like he was in pain even though he did try and cover it. Before the performance started we were above the stage so we could see the boys behind stage. I thought why not so I shouted 'James' 'Brad' and they both looked up and smiled however that's when security told us to go back so we did.
The show started and then they done a little Q&A however with all the cheering I couldn't really hear it to be hone st and I was too distracted by Connor swinging on his chair and holding onto Tristans' for another moment I thought there could be a repeated 'Connor Fall' moment.
We left promptly after the show and quickly got the tube to Stratford and got in the queue for the meet. We won tickets which were purple which was for Connor. We queued for a bit then we finally got into the building we had rows for each remember. I got in the row for Connor and saw Dean Sherwood (who produces their videos) and thanked him for watching my YouTube video. He is extremely talent and I love the work he does. You can visit his website by clicking here. I finally met Connor and he was so lovely, sweet and genuine. He was so lovely you just wanted to hug him however we weren't allowed so I guess that was impossible. He signed my 'Meet The Vamps' album (you can purchase this in your local HMV stores and other stores. You can find more details on this on their website you can also purchase their album on iTunes and help them get a top spot.
We saw people going around again so we did and this time they gave me a yellow band which was for Brad. Again we entered the building however on the corner we were in Tristans' vision so I shouted 'Tristan!' then I waved and then he waved back at me. As the queue moved along no one was left for James' so I had to try and shout over the loud singing and say I'm filming the video this weekend (an artsy video you'll see on my channel in the next few weeks, if you aren't subscribed to my channel you can click here to be directed to my channel) I also created the heart gesture and said 'James I love you' then he looked over to me and copied the pose which was incredibly cute and sweet.
I finally reached Brad and by now my heart was probably racing so fast (this is going to be incredibly awkward if Brad is reading this somehow but there's 99.9% he isn't so that's all good and will save me the embarrassment!) I reached him and gave him my phone case to sign. I had planned what I was going to say to him and I just needed to make sure I said it before I forgot. So I explained I was Courtney, the girl who he has spoken on the phone several times and he was like oh yeah! As if he recognised. He finished signing my case however carried on talking to me, I asked him to follow me and he said he would because he said he would a while ago. However he carried on looking at me and turned my case a few times round looked at me again and wrote into my case 'hey courtney love you x' this made me smile so much because I didn't ask him to but it was so cute.
*Saves blog post as a draft on the 15th April and re-discovers that it was never finished on the 27th April*
*carries on writing blog post on the 27th April*
That was pretty much the day for me. There was probably other details that I can no longer remember seeing as this is nearly 2 weeks later. But I wrote this and would love to post it so when I look back, I can remember the little things like this.
Lots Of Love
Courtney

Hello Lovelies,

I have decided I'm not going to post on here anymore, just for the fact that I have a site and I want to make good use out of it. You can read my blogs and over types of blogs on my website originallycourtney.co.uk. I have loads of other blogs on there from every day vlogs, health & fitness blogs, links to my videos and loads of other stuff.

I may come back on here and post on here soon I'm not too sure or I may carry on posting my half term blogs on here then end it. Either that or instead of ending my blogs I just do a copy on both, but I would appreciate it if you could go and visit my website.

Lots Of Love

Half Term: A Blog a Day – On The Radio – Tuesday 8th – Thursday 10th April 2014.

Hello Lovelies,
This blog post is going to cover Tuesday 8th, Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th because the last three days I haven’t been up to much so there isn’t any point of having a single blog post for each one so here the past three days are.
Tuesday 8th April 2014
So today Jessica went home, her mum (my auntie) picked her up around 11.30am. We both woke up feeling quite sad at the thought that Monday was over and feeling quite tired. I was feeling quite down that morning just the fact that I had missed the events of Monday night. I was feeling especially tired and this day consisted of me sitting on my laptop and waiting for the vlogs off Marcus, Joe and Caspar as well as Dean Sherwood (he produces The Vamps videos) however it was out of his hands as he just filmed, edited and uploaded and it wasn’t his say for when the video went up. I can’t exactly remember what I done on Tuesday I’m pretty sure it consisted of me watching clips off my very dodgy camera. I also stayed up till 4am and me and a friend who I have made on twitter was spamming at 4am for our follow (which we still haven’t managed to get)
Wednesday 9th April 2014
Today I was awoken to find out I was going to go shopping with my mum and my little sister. Also my cousin told me that Deans’ video of The Vamps Last Night Launch Party in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust had gone up. Which you can actually see me in and see Brad looking towards me in. I went shopping and didn’t find anything which was probably the best for me seeing as I need to start saving my money after spending so much money and only being 4 months into the year already. I also saw my head in Marcus and Joes’ vlogs from Monday. I also filmed a video from what happened on Wednesday and started to edit which I restarted on Thursday.
Thursday 10th April 2014
Today I woke up pretty late at around 1.30pm which is bad but I haven’t had a proper lie in since half term started, this morning well should I say after my lie in. My mum had to go out with my sister so i stayed in and waited for some parcels that she was waiting for. I also attempted to edit my video then Adobe crashed so I decided to procrastinate and leave it. Again today consisted of me watching YouTube videos. Most of today I was busy listening to the ‘Top 40 Charts’ and laughing my head off on our group chat. This is a shout out to my ‘pickleberries’ because they’re awesome and I love them all. They all make me laugh so much and keep calling me famous even though I am definitely not famous. I also done some hoovering. *how fun*
The evening was more exciting. I spoke on ‘Stafford FM’ about The Vamps Last Night Launch Party in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust, speaking about amazing that it was in aid of TCT and that it definitely was a great experience and a great thing that has happened to me. I also mentioned that if you text ‘VAMPS’ to 70500 it will make a donation of £5 to Teenage Cancer Trust and all the proceedings go towards the Charity so if you reading this are feeling generous please donate!
That’s it for the last three days! They have been very boring but hey ho, I’m not used to writing a blog for each day. So I guess I’m trying something new.
Lots Of Love

{Wednesdays ootd}

Half Term: A Blog a Day – The Vamps In Aid Of Teenage Cancer Trust – Monday 7th April 2014.

Hello Lovelies,
I am so excited to write this blog post as this night is on the list for one of the best nights of my life and I enjoyed every second of the night. This was my first concert/gig and it was for my favourite band. Here I during early hours of the 9th April writing this because I typed it up during the day and realised I wanted to add more information but I wasn’t exactly okay to think of the previous days events just yet. I didn’t want to leave this blog too long so I guess here it is (if this gets soppy then you’ll probably be able to imagine me with tears down my eyes however weird or crazy that may seem.)
Monday 7th April 2014
So I woke up at around 8 but stayed in bed till 8:30. Then I got ready and I my OOTD was a white cami from New Look (£9.99), black leggings (just an ordinary pair), then I paired this with a statement necklace from New Look (£5.99). Then I paired them with a pair of black frilly socks (£1.50) from Primark and a pair of boots which were from New Look ages ago. To top my outfit off I wore my black Harrington jacket which I am in love with and this was from the vintage range in Urban Outfitters (£55). Overall I only spent around £15 on this outfit because I had owned my Harrington jacket, leggings and boots before the concert and I purchased the frilly socks because I really like them. Enough of the outfit lets move onto the actual day.
So I had to film some clips for YouthTube  and then me and Jessica went downstairs and had a waffle with nutella on top and I have a cup of tea and Jess had coffee. We left a bit later in the end which at first we didn’t care about until we found out if we were half hour earlier we would of got to meet them and get photos which is really disappointing as we missed out on an opportunity we have been waiting a couple of years for now and we were sort of annoyed but we didn’t let it ruin the day.
We had to take a normal train and then an overground train to get to the venue. With the help of my amazing friend Lea we got to the venue quickly with the help of her directions and managed to get into the queue. I can’t remember what time we got there it was around 1/2pm. We were right next to the fire exit which meant that the boys were just on the other side of the wall to us and we could hear the music so clearly while they were in sound-check which was amazing to hear them live after not seeing them live for 8 months, and unless you understand what it is like then you probably won’t understand the emotions that you feel hearing and seeing your band live after 8 months which is 2/3rds of a year. I met some lovely people and everyone was ever so lovely, I found out some new YouTubers which was awesome especially as I am one too.
We stayed in the queue till 3/4pm and we had these lovely girls; Sarai and Zuza save our space while we went to the toilet and got some food (click their names for their twitters) When we arrived we had around 2 hours to go till. The staff controlling were lovely, they came round and gave us this small packet of sweets ‘Mosh Pit Fuel’ and handed us out free waterproof ponchos because it was raining which was lovely.
We entered at 6pm and to the second row of standing however people kept moving so sometimes it would be front row sometimes it would be second but it was overall amazing view. During the spare time between we got in there and the time Luke Friend who was the support act came on we had Giles Potter, Marcus Butler, Joe Sugg, Caspar Lee and his girlfriend Gaby Jones walked in. We later had people from ‘Friday Download’ come in and so did A*M*E and Carrie Hope Fletcher. At 7:15pm Luke Friend came on stage and he was absolutely amazing, he got us all signing by singing several songs which included; ‘Skinny Love’ and ‘Teenage Dream.’ Once Luke went off with a massive applause from the audience and loads of cheers we was shown a clip from TCT (Teenage Cancer Trust) which was incredibly heart-warming and emotional, it talked about a girl who got cancer and survived and how she coped with her cancer and it made me appreciate how much I should appreciate life more and make the most of it.
Now getting onto the emotional part where all that nights emotions are going to come back to me and possibly (just possibly make me cry) *grabs the tissues on the side*. After the video shown we had a massive count down on the screen counting down from 60 seconds. The last 15 seconds were building up tension, the whole crowd was shouting counting down and my heart was racing so fast. When the countdown got down to 0 we all cheered and it all went black for a couple of seconds and me and the group of people I was buy making jokes on how they are late and how they are always late. Then all of a sudden on the screen we got a life stream of them in their dressing room all huddled together having a private/intimate moment before the show. Have being in some shows and done competitions with groups I have done this and I can say how it feels when you are surrounded by the closest ones and I can honestly say this is a special moment. Furthermore after being huddled together and seeing the massive smile on James’ face between Brad, Connor and Tristans’ head was so lovely to see they left the room and made the way to the stage by this time I was ready and I was so excited, not seeing them for 8 months and finally getting to see them live meant so much to me.
They entered the stage with a massive round of applause, cheers and screams and went straight into singing ‘Wild Heart’ which was amazing to open with. I love that moment when they stop singing and the audience takes over and sings and you can see the massive smile on their faces and it makes you feel so happy. During ‘Girls On TV’ Brad came over and I touched his shoulder/chest and when he went and moved to the people next to us I turned around so my back was towards the stage and I turned my head towards Brad and looked at him and while I am pretty sure he saw my camera he winked which I think killed all the girls.
The rest of the night consisted of jumping up and down and singing at the top of our lungs. Connor also came over to us however he wasn’t close enough to touch. Brad sung ‘Shout About It’ which is my favourite song on their new album coming out which is called ‘Meet The Vamps’ you can pre-order it on the store or go over to iTunes to pre-order the normal version or the deluxe version (I will put the links below along with my other links. James joined in singing and it was such a special moment.
There is so much more information however up to this very current point I have already done 1,280 words and this is becoming more like an essay.
Me and Jess had a phenomenal night and if you would like to hear about more information or in a more auditory perspective, you can head over to my YouTube channel originallycourtney (just click on the channel name to be directed in a new window) I wanted to thank everyone who helped put it together, and all the amazing staff at Sheperds Bush O2 Empire. The staff were amazing and made sure it was all organized and made me feel much safer. This was one of the best nights of my life and I will cherish this day forever.
If you would like to help support Teenage Cancer Trust then you can text ‘VAMPS’ to 70500. This will make the donation of £5 however all proceedings go towards the charity and it’s an amazing cause so if you could help donate that would be amazing.
Lots Of Love

Half Term: A Blog a Day - Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th April 2014.

Hello Lovelies,
Here is another blog post covering the Saturday 5th April and Sunday 6th April. I know its Tuesday but I wanted Monday 7th April to have its own post as it was such an amazing day and I’d rather have it separate.
Saturday 5th April 2014
I was up at 6:30am because I had training ice (which is a certain time allocated for figure skaters, that you are allowed to spin and jump on and have lessons with the whole rink open.) I had skating from 8am and finished at 9:15am, I will admit it wasn’t the best skate I have had recently as my feet started hurting quite a lot. After skating I went back to my dads and then I went on my laptop for a bit. At around half 1 my friend sent me a video message off Brad Simpson which made me incredibly happy and I can’t explain how much it meant to me.
I didn’t do much after that! I carried going on my laptop and watched The Vamps on the channel 4 Brunch show however I only watched when they came on but I will admit it was really funny to watch Connor break a fake horse. I watched their twitcam and after headed off to my cousins Jessica and Hannah for a sleep over. We watched the twitcam and tried getting follows during the follow spree, I finally got the Last Night EP downloaded. Then we all went to sleep and that was the day pretty much over.
Sunday 6th April 2014
Today, I was supposed to go to Thorpe Park however it was raining so we just stayed in bed. I woke up at 9:30am and my dad was picking me up at 10am. I didn’t really do much today I just went back to my dads and just went on the normal social networking sites. Facebook, YouTube, Twitter. I went and picked Jessica up at 7pm and then my dad dropped me and my cousin off at my house. During the journey I got a phone call of my amazing friend and as soon as i got through the door and was still holding my stuff Connor Ball said “Hello Courtney, love you bye.” which was absolutely crazy and me and Jess just started talking about it. Later on that evening I spoke to Brad (Brad Simpson) and he asked me how I was, he asked twice and I gave him a reply both times at first I thought he wasn’t going to talk to be but then he asked how I was and I asked how he was and then we ended the phone call. That was really it.
Me and Jessica watched the new ‘Carry on Vamping’ which was produced, edited, directed, the full works by Dean Sherwood. He does amazing work and I am definitely jealous of his camera and editing skills and he is such an amazing producer and the work he does is phenomenal. You can click here to visit his website. We then started to watch ‘Frozen’ however we got tired and went to sleep.
Sorry this was a boring blog post, god knows how I would survived doing ‘vlogmas’ or ‘veda’ you know what i mean.
Lots Of Love

Half Term: A Blog a Day - Friday 4th April 2014.

Hello Lovelies,

I have decided that now it is half term I will write a blog a day, this is to motivate me to do something during the half term instead of sleeping till the afternoon and wasting my time off school before revising for my science GCSE and mocks kick in. So I thought by making myself to write a blog a day or every other day will motivate me to do more things and adventure.

I broke up on Thursday the 3rd April 2014, so my half term technically started on Friday the 4th April 2014.

Friday 4th April 2014

Today i woke up at 7:30 however stayed in bed till around half 8. I had decided to go shopping as I wanted to find something to wear on Monday as I am going to the 'The Vamps Launch Party/Release of Last Night' which is in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust. If you would like to donate text 'VAMPS' to 70500 to donate £5, all proceedings/money raised goes towards the charity and its for a great cause.

I went to watch my little sister Abbie at her Easter school assembly as my mum was at work and it was her first assembly at her new school so I wanted to go and watch and she had a speaking line and she wanted someone to watch her so I went there and after that I went straight to Asda (I know how interesting) and met my friend there and her mum dropped us off at the bus stop and we got the bus to town.

So I went shopping with my friends Georgia and Alex and it was lovely! I managed to find an outfit which wasn't too dressy but wasn't to casual. We was out for a couple of hours and then my mum picked me and Georgia up and we dropped Georgia off at her home and then I came home.

I had a headache so I went to bed and watched 'Gossip Girl' which is like my favourite TV show recently. I had to pack for my dads and then I started to get ready. I had a quick facetime with my friend Jenn who lives in Germany however it didn't last long because I had to go out.

Apart from that Tristan Evans (@TheVampsTristan) RT'ed my tweet and I gained over 50 followers just from him RT'ing. After that he followed me at 16:40 (4:40pm) and that made me incredibly happy.

I visited my brother and his girlfriends new place and then I went to my dads. After that I went to sleep and that's it.

I'll update Saturdays tomorrow as each blog post will be +1day incase anything interesting happens late at night.

Lots Of Love
Courtney

☆ Happy Sweet 16th Jessica ☆

Hello Lovelies

Today this blog post is a special one to my gorgeous cousin Jessica, aka Jess or itsbeingmejess on YouTube. This girl means so much to me and she is literally my everything, I don't know what I would do without her so is amazing. She has gone through hard times that not everyone goes through and she still shines through them and i love her to pieces.

As we are cousins and only 7 months apart we have pretty much known each other our whole life so its hard for me to picture living without her. Jess you got me into The Sims, YouTube, Ice Skating and if it wasn't for you I may not be making videos today, be a figure skater or a Sim addict. Ooh and my Thorpe Park / Theme Park buddy.

I love you so much girl and these 16 years have been amazing and just think in another 16 years you will be 32. No actually don't think that, that is too scary.

My YouTube Journey

Hello lovelies,

I thought I would type up another blog for any of you reading this because I really do love blogging and I love that it is a place where I can put all of my thoughts and emotions into one place instead of them keeping them in my head which would probably lead to a massive headache or something like that.

Today I wanted to type up a worded version of 'My YouTube Journey' because I wanted to do a video version of it however I am leaving that to my 2 year on YouTube! Which yes, is a very long way away (technically just under 8 months away) but I wanted to do this in case any of you reading this or reading this later in time wanted to know about my YouTube story so here it is...

On The 9th November 2012 I created my channel 'Originally Courtney' this was because I had decided to start a new channel, which wasn't really a shock for me because I always used to start new channels. However this was different! I really wanted to make a big effort into it, spending time on actually filming vlogs and not standing in front of a pink sheet using it as a green screen. Who knows I one day may feature some of that old footage for you guys! Or creating music videos like the original 2010/2011 music video stage which many of my current YouTube friends went through as well. The truth is I was actually making videos back in 2009/2010 however they were mostly silly webcam videos or adding pictures together into a slideshow. This technically means I have been making videos for 5 years now which actually seems crazy to think of, that's a 1/3 of my life.

Anyway I created Originally Courtney but I abbreviate it as 'OC' on the 9th November 2012 and uploaded my first video 'The Throwback Tag'  which is currently still up on the 10th November 2012. Just a warning I had actually just turned 14 but I do think I look so young compared to now. Gradually my subscribers kept going up and to any of you who don't make YouTube videos, when you gain subscribers you get a kind of 'buzz' you can see the number getting higher and it gives you a feeling of 'euphoria' in a simple form. I'm pretty sure Brad Simpson from The Vamps would be happier to hear me repeating 'don't do drugs kids get high on life' and this is what YouTube is to me! You get a buzz of happiness and I still get that today.

So on the 10th December 2012 I reached 100 subscribers which when you create a YouTube channel your first 100 subscribers seems like a big number. Twenty days later I reached 200 and then thirteen days later I reached 300 subscribers and from my journey to 100 subscribers to 900 subscribers I was gaining pretty much 100+ subscribers per month. However on the 21st May 2013 I reached 900 subscribers and shockingly only 9 days later I reached 1,000. I don't think I could explain how happy I was when I reached 1,000 subscribers, and to many people it may not be a lot but picturing 1,000 people in front of you is crazy. From then on I lost count of how many subscribers I gained at the 100 count instead I started aiming towards the next 500 or 1000 subscribers.

So I continued making videos from November 2012 and I am still creating them currently and along the way yes people have slowly found out and now the majority of my school/year now and if you would have asked me a few months ago if I cared if school people found out I would have cared but now I've realized it really doesn't bother me. I have came to realize without YouTube i wouldn't have had some amazing opportunities. Making most of my friends I am friends with now and I get on better with these people compared to people I have known for quite a few years. Also every day I have the joy of getting people commenting, viewing, liking, subscribing my videos and my channel and I truly don't think anyone understands the feeling if you aren't a YouTuber yourself. Furthermore, I have been able to be paid for creating my videos and something I enjoy. I'm being honest it's not enough but its enough to call my little 'part time job' and this literally covers me going to see my friends in London maybe once a month and to put aside for any equipment i may be saving up towards to. Creating videos online has actually got me noticed which is really weird, nice and crazy at the same time. Once last year and twice this year, to some people that may mean nothing but to me it means so much and coming up to me and saying "You're originallycourtney aren't you? I watch your videos" creates such an amazing feeling. Furthermore there is further opportunities i have gained like joining YouthTube and GBPostersUK and many more things that may happen throughout this year.

There isn't much to say apart from that. I'm looking forward to seeing where my YouTube journey goes from here and I can't wait to share it with you guys!

Lots Of Love
Courtney

Aloha, Fresh Start & Blogging More.

Hello everyone,

This kind of feels weird typing a blog again since my last post on here was back in August, however I have deleted my old posts and decided to start fresh.

Since making my website (click here to be directed to it) public on the 9th November 2013 my aim was to keep everything on there, from my video updates to my blogs, however blogging doesn't feel the same on there and I feel like I am accomplishing something decent when I blog on here and it is something I really want to get back into during this year.

I decided to start blogging again because recently I have found who I am and it may seem cheesy but I have literally found what my style is. I have found the sort of clothes I like to wear and when I go shopping I find stuff and I see that I like it. If you would have given me money last year I would over think too much when I was buying stuff, always asking myself "do I really like this?" (Which don't get me wrong can be good) however is a pain when you need to find clothes and you can't.

I thought I would update you on a few things in case you haven't seen my videos or it has been a while since you have. I'm a 15 year old YouTuber from England, I turn 16 in autumn 2014 but I would like to say I do act mature for my age compared to other girls I know who are my age and I tend to get along with more mature people, older teens and adults and tend to get frustrated with immature people. Don't get me wrong though I do act immature sometimes and I can act quite hyperactive if I am with people I really enjoy spending time with (this is mostly my cousins Jessica + Hannah, so Hiya to both of you as you're probably reading this.)

I love different bands and my music taste is all over the place which varies from pop-rock, alternative/indie-rock and alternative rock, and just plain rock but I do love a bit of pop music when it comes to dancing but I have definitely been into the whole indie/rock recently. I love bands like; The Vamps, The Neighbourhood, 5SOS, Arctic Monkeys, The 1975, Bastille, and there's so many more but they are my some of favourites.

This year I would love to make the most of it seeing as I have a few GCSE'S this year but I know next year is going to be hard work so if I could gain some new skills this year it would be absolutely awesome. I would love to start playing Keyboard/Piano and return to my old hobby of playing the Guitar which I have completely forgotten. Also this year I would love to advance into one of my favourite hobbies which is figure skating and I would love to enhance my acting skills as well.

This year is going to be fun and I can't wait to see what it brings. This blog is going to contain many things, from my current favourites, OOTD/OFTW ect. Maybe a few beauty blogs here and there and maybe updates just like these. But you will be able to find most of these topics in video forms over on my YouTube channel (click here for my YouTube)

So overall I have truly found what I enjoy and finally like something because I like it and I haven't been dragged into liking bands because of friends like them and I have finally found my style that I like to wear.

Sorry this is a long post but I wanted to do a post on everything as a massive update for you all so I can look back and see how much I have changed in the future.

Lots of Love
Courtney
